Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cowl Hefernon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marco Polo!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Polo throws a chopping leg kick but Hefernon manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
A head kick from Hefernon lands but Polo takes it in his stride.

It looks like Marco Polo has been cut.
Hefernon connects with an inside leg kick.
Hefernon really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Polo throws a sloppy head kick and Hefernon moves out of range easily.
Polo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Polo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hefernon tries a head kick but it misses.
Hefernon throws a head kick that misses.
Hefernon avoids the head kick by Polo.

Hefernon throws a head kick that half lands.
Polo buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Hefernon tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Polo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Cowl Hefernon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hefernon moves into the clinch.
Polo wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Hefernon drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Polo is defending well against a takedown attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hefernon is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Polo is defending well for now.
Hefernon throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Polo blocks it with crossed arms.
Hefernon creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Polo's defenses.
Hefernon's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
The referee calls for Hefernon to work.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Hefernon for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

Hefernon pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A head kick misses from Polo.
Good exchange - Hefernon coming out on top.

Polo is rocked!

Hefernon gets a big slam - oh, Polo is out! Polo is out! That's a nasty KO!
