The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karwowski misses with the combination.
Karwowski keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Karwowski fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pietravallo manages to avoid it.
Pietravallo throws a series of punches but Karwowski avoids them all with ease.
Pietravallo tries to land a leg kick but Karwowski saw it coming and moves away.

and Pietravallo counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Karwowski is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Pietravallo defends well.

Karwowski throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Pietravallo escapes and throws Karwowski's legs to the side, diving into side control!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Karwowski is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Karwowski is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Pietravallo is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Pietravallo flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Karwowski anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Pietravallo and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Karwowski slips an arm under Pietravallo chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Karwowski has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Karwowski is squeezing on Pietravallo like an anaconda would it's prey. Pietravallo fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
