The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kingsman pushes Mir up against the cage in a clinch.
Kingsman tries to pull guard but Mir forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Kingsman is trying to push Mir away but Mir has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
A nice right hand lands inside from Mir.

Kingsman is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Mir throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kingsmans head.

Kingsman seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Mir is pulling down on Kingsman's head. It's preventing any offense from Kingsman, at least for the moment.

Kingsman seems a little flustered. He's come in with the intention of controlling the clinch but Mir is preventing him from doing so, at least for the moment.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Kingsman shoots in looking for a takedown but Mir manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kingsman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
