And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stumpy Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson looks for a takedown but Morales sprawls well.
Horrible takedown attempt by Johnson or perhaps it was just good defense by Morales, which made it look bad.
Morales tries to clinch up but Johnson circles away and keeps his distance.

James Morales has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stumpy Johnson.
Johnson closes the distance and clinches up with Morales, looking for a takedown. Johnson pushes Morales against the cage but Morales circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Morales appears to be looking for a big counter.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Morales is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Johnson scores with a couple of nice shots.

Johnson has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Morales defend it? Johnson steps over the head and cranks it - Morales is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Johnson!
