The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marquez tries to score a power double leg takedown but Storm sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Marquez somewhat.
Storm changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Marquez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Storm swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Viva Marquez will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Marquez tries for a takedown but Storm sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Storm drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Marquez manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Storm has Marquez in his guard.

Marquez sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Storm's guard.
