Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Sutherland!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Cambell!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Horrible takedown attempt by Cambell or perhaps it was just good defense by Sutherland, which made it look bad.
Sutherland is looking for a counter combo.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Cambell.
Sutherland went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cambell shoots and misses
and Sutherland counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Joe Sutherland has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Cambell.
Cambell looks for a takedown but Sutherland sprawls well.
As Cambell looks to move away, Sutherland throws a big counter combo bu Cambell just gets out of the way.

Cambell tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cambell has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Cambell wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sutherland keeps working.

Sutherland is looking for a sweep.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sutherland is not content to let Cambell control the position.
Cambell is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Sutherland will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Cambell goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Sutherland rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Cambell's guard! Nice work there by Sutherland!

Cambell is trying to control the position but Sutherland postures up.
Sutherland has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Cambell is proving hard to escape from.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Sutherland won't allow Cambell to sweep him here.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Cambell tries for a takedown but Sutherland circles away easily
and Sutherland counters with a one-two to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cambell fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Sutherland seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Cambell tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Sutherland defends well and Cambell ends up having to push Sutherland into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Cambell tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sutherland sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cambell somewhat.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Cambell shoots in but Sutherland avoids the takedown attempt easily.

and Sutherland counters with a crisp one two that drops Cambell! Sutherland thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Cambell to his feet! Cambell is in big trouble!

Cambell seems to have recovered his senses.
No luck for Cambell with that takedown attempt.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

and Sutherland counters with a left right combination that sends Cambell crashing to the mat - Sutherland wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Cambell out for a TKO! Devastating finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Sutherland!
