The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from RUSSO.

RUSSO shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than RUSSO was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Head wants to hold on but RUSSO pushes him away.
RUSSO wants to control the pace but Head is squirming around nicely.

RUSSO is working for a guillotine from mount but Head frees his head quite easily.
Head is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Head sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

RUSSO seems to be working for a kimura but Head defends the submission attempt.
Head is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of RUSSO's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take RUSSO's back!

Head has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. RUSSO is defending well but eventually Head manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! RUSSO has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
