Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bubba Red (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Red comes to the cage accompanied by Black Stone Cherry Bulldozer. Bubba Red has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Red looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Robinson with the counter takedown but Red avoids it easily.
Robinson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Red doesn't seem bothered though.
Red is trying hard to land a takedown here. Robinson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Red changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Robinson tries to avoid it but Red manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Robinson to the ground. Robinson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Robinson flicks out a counter leg kick but Red steps away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bubba Red. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Red takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Red leaves Robinson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Red tries to score a power double leg takedown but Robinson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Red somewhat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Robinson counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Red enables Robinson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Red manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Robinson controls from within his opponent's guard.
Let's hope that Robinson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Red looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Robinson puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Robinson working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Well, if Robinson is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Red wants to control but Robinson is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Red knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Robinson on the ground.
Robinson content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Red wants to improve his position but Robinson is controlling well.
Red keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Robinson is thwarting Red's attempts to control the position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Red fails in his attempt to clinch.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Robinson gets control of Red's arms and successfully pulls guard. Robinson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Red is really struggling to control Robinson but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Red has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Robinson to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Red is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Robinson pulls down on the head and he's put Red to sleep! This one is all over!

An out of breath Eric Robinson thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
In defeat, Bubba Red stepped up to the mic, saying 'It is a shame that i lost tonight but i will not let this put me down this will just make me better and stronger thank you all'.
