Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Henry Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Page (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Page has chosen The Hand That Feeds as his entrance music. The key to victory for Henry Morgan has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Henry Morgan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kyle Page!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Page dives in for a single leg takedown but Morgan sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
A head kick misses from Morgan.
Page fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
As Page tries to get set, Morgan tries to push him back and clinch up but Page manages to avoid the attempt.
Page shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Morgan defends it nicely.
Henry Morgan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kyle Page.
Page needs to keep his hands up - Morgan had a free shot at his head there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Morgan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Morgan does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Page feints the counter takedown.
Page looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Morgan scores with a nice right hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Morgan with a jab.
No joy there for Morgan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Page drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Morgan defends it well.
Morgan with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Morgan is looking to clinch but Page is avoiding it.
Morgan looks to land a right hand but Page moved out of range.
Morgan scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Page doesn't seem bothered though.
Page ducks under a wild hook from Morgan.
A slapping leg kick lands for Morgan.
Morgan misses with a double jab
and Page counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Morgan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Page with the counter takedown but Morgan avoids it easily.
A shot to the liver by Morgan. Beautiful body shot.
Morgan throws a series of punches but Page moves out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Page looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Page showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Morgan.
Morgan jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Henry Morgan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Morgan throws a poor cross that misses

and Page counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Page thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Morgan's head.
Page takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Page throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Morgan pushes Page off looking to stand but Page dives back in and keeps control.
Page works his way into side control.

Page thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Morgan managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Page.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Page postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Morgan wants to get back to his feet but Page drags him back down.
Page tries to move to mount but Morgan blocks the move with his legs.
Page has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Page has an Americana. Morgan didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Page is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Page hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Kyle Page!
A relieved looking Kyle Page thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
