Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jits clinches up against the cage.
Boyka tries to pull guard but Jits holds him up against the cage and eventually Boyka drops back down to his feet.
Jits takes an elbow to the forehead.
Boyka told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.
Boyka pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Boyka drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jits pulls his leg out and moves away.
Boyka tries to close the distance and clinch but Jits swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Jits attempts a counter takedown but Boyka avoids it well and moves away.
Boyka slaps away a takedown attempt from Jits, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Boyka gets in close and instigates a clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Jits tries to score a power double leg takedown but Boyka sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jits somewhat.

Yuri Boyka showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
