Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Wilma Bassen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leerose Noel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Leerose Noel!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Noel. No joy for Bassen on that attempt.
Bassen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Noel manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bassen.
Noel shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bassen is trying to defend but Noel finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Bassen is looking for a sweep. Noel is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Noel is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Noel tries to stand and escape but Bassen is controlling the position.

Noel decides to stand up.
Bassen tries to clinch but Noel is having none of it.

and Noel counters with a good low kick that Bassen was not able to check.
Bassen ducks right into an uppercut from Noel.
Bassen with a lazy takedown attempt
and Noel counters with a hugh head kick that removes Bassen from consiousness! A brutal head kick knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Leerose Noel!
Leerose Noel spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
