Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, joshua collis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brian Marlin! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from collis. Marlin feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. collis escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Marlin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. collis is breathing heavily. Marlin drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Marlin seems to have locked his on tight now - collis screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Marlin, as he picks up the win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Brian Marlin!
