The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smaug tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Klice is able to avoid easily.
A good leg kick by Smaug.
Smaug lands a leg kick that knocks Klice off balance momentarily.
Klice avoids the head kick by Smaug.

It looks like Cinder Smaug has been cut.
Klice cracks the inside of Smaug's front leg.
Smaug just misses with a punch to the body.
Smaug throws a sloppy body shot
and Klice counters with a three punch combo that has Smaug backing up. Smaug nods at Klice to acknowledge the strikes.
Klice lands a leg kick that knocks Smaug off balance momentarily.
Smaug pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
No joy there for Klice, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Smaug connects with a body shot that sends Klice's belly button to the back.
Smaug misses with an uppercut. Klice saw that one coming.
Smaug ducks under a wild hook from Klice.
Smaug connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Klice's hands.
Klice lands the left hand.

The fighters circling - Smaug throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A big right from Klice misses.
Klice looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Klice has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Smaug.

and Smaug takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Klice misses with a low kick as Smaug jumps back.

Klice fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Smaug on the side of the head.
Klice throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Klice tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Smaug throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Klice on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Klice throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Smaug.
Smaug is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Klice with a body shot.
Klice scores with a one two! Smaug had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Smaug throws a leg kick but Klice moved away.
Klice moves out of range of the strikes.
Smaug fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Klice on the side of the head.
Smaug explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Klice avoids the body shot from Smaug.
Klice shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

It looks like Simbo Klice has been cut.
Smaug stuns Klice with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Klice is breathing heavily.

Smaug feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Klice sprawling to the canvas! Klice rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Smaug finish him?!

Klice is rocked!
Smaug throws a nice outside leg kick.
Oh Klice is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Smaug fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Klice.
Smaug scores with a hook to the body. Klice takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Smaug tries a head kick but it misses.
Smaug lands an uppercut, right on the button! Klice tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.

After winning the bout, Cinder Smaug thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
