The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takahashi misses with a low kick.
Kovalenko blocks a head kick by Takahashi.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Takahashi.
Kovalenko scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Kovalenko cracks Takahashi with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Takahashi gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Takahashi tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Kovalenko is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Takahashi buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Takahashi!! Takahashi is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Kovalenko throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
