Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Javier Capeno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giorgos Parxaridis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Capeno.
Parxaridis pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Parxaridis doesn't manage to clinch there - Capeno circles away.
Parxaridis throws a sloppy head kick and Capeno moves out of range easily.
Parxaridis misses with a wild combination.
Capeno turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Capeno lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Giorgos Parxaridis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Capeno looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Capeno scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Parxaridis doesn't seem bothered though.
Parxaridis tries to clinch there but Capeno circles away.
Capeno quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Capeno crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Parxaridis - the referee stops the clock and Capeno gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Parxaridis. Capeno manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Capeno swats away the attempt to clinch by Parxaridis.
Capeno keeps Parxaridis at a distance using the push kick.
Capeno lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Parxaridis at a distance.
Parxaridis looks winded!

The fight stays on the outside here - Parxaridis looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Parxaridis tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Capeno counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Capeno.
Capeno scores with a nice strike.
Parxaridis is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Capeno just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Parxaridis has gone limp and this one is over!
