Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kurt Koc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donald Summer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Donald Summer will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Summer as Koc shoots in.
Koc fails with the takedown.
Koc shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Summer as he avoids it easily.

Koc clinches up with Summer and pushes him back against the cage.

Summer breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Koc takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Koc is breathing heavily.
Horrible takedown by Koc or perhaps it was just good defense by Summer which made him look bad.
Koc ducks under a wild hook from Summer.
Summer misses the jab.
Koc looks to land a left hand but Summer moved out of range nicely.
Koc walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Koc. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
A punch lands to the side of Koc 's head but he takes it in his stride.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Summer drops Koc with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Koc looks back up at him and smiles so Summer waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Jeez, Kurt Koc's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kurt Koc's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
