Rodriguez kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is DMX - Intro It's Dark and Hell is Hot. Lee Boscal looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Rodriguez.
Boscal fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rodriguez avoids it really well and circles away.
Rodriguez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Boscal slips a jab and a cross from Rodriguez.
Rodriguez displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

It looks like Lee Boscal has been cut.
Rodriguez misses with a few strikes there.
Nice sprawl there from Boscal as Rodriguez shoots in.
Rodriguez will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Boscal circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rodriguez lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Boscal shoots for a double leg takedown but Rodriguez sprawls well. He's pushed Boscal's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Rodriguez throws a right hand that Boscal ducks under and follows up with a left that Boscal also avoids with ease.
Rodriguez throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Rodriguez lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Boscal backs up against the cage.
Rodriguez throws a nice looking combination but Boscal bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Boscal throws a counter combo.
Rodriguez fails with an attempt to clinch.
Rodriguez tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Rodriguez scores with a spinning back kick!
Rodriguez tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Boscal manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Rodriguez lands a big head kick that sends Boscal tumbling to the mat! Rodriguez takes a step backwards and waves Boscal back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rodriguez seems to be stalking Boscal here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Boscal drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!

A very excited looking Alex Rodriguez rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
