Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Seto Takiama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuji Tamashihiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tamashihiro feints and as Takiama raises his hands in defense, Tamashihiro changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

It looks like Tamashihiro might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Tamashihiro drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Takiama manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Tamashihiro has Takiama in his guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tamashihiro is on top in guard.

We've been hearing good reports from Takiama's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Let's hope that Tamashihiro has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Tamashihiro seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Takiama bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tamashihiro's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Takiama is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Tamashihiro has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Takiama doesn't defend quickly enough and Tamashihiro has managed to lock this one up! Can Takiama escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Tamashihiro on a fantastic submission victory.
