The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moon with a poor takedown

and Morris counters with a takedown into side control.

Morris tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Morris has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Morris shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Moon napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Moon is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Morris has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Moon drops back looking for a leg! Morris is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Morris manages to kick Moon off! Moon jumps back into Morris's guard.

Morris is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Moon is aware though and is defending well.
