Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leonardo Keller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Zangiev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Victor Zangiev will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of London, Leonardo Keller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Victor Zangiev!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Phil Schofield and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zangiev lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Keller circles away quickly and effectively.
Zangiev lands a right hook to the body.
Zangiev tries to bum rush Keller with a series of wild strikes but Keller uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nice uppercut there from Zangiev.


It looks like Leonardo Keller has been cut.
Keller really is a fat lump.
Zangiev throws a right and a left that Keller avoids nicely.
As Zangiev tries to get set, Keller tries to push him back and clinch up but Zangiev manages to avoid the attempt.
Zangiev misses with a few strikes there.
Zangiev tries to bum rush Keller with a series of wild strikes but Keller uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Zangiev lands with a nice body punch.
Zangiev throws a series of punches but Keller avoids them all with ease.
Keller shoots in for a double leg but Zangiev sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Keller walks into a left hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Keller darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Keller is nestled in close to Zangiev, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Keller throwing shots but Zangiev is blocking nicely.
Keller throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Keller thows a huge punch but Zangiev dodges it nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Keller lands strikes from half guard.

Keller landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Keller not doing much here.
Keller drops an elbow to the side of Zangiev's head.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Zangiev looks like he's trying to stand up.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Zangiev throws a right hand that Keller ducks under and follows up with a left that Keller also avoids with ease.
Zangiev throws a right and a left that both miss.
Sloppy strikes from Zangiev. Those never looked like landing.
Zangiev throws a nice looking combination but Keller bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Zangiev swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Zangiev gets caught flat footed, as Keller shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Keller is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Keller's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Keller trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Keller distracts Zangiev with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Keller throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Zangiev is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Keller controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Keller chips away with some ground and pound.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Keller controlling from the top position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Keller bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A punch combination from Zangiev misses.
Keller avoids a punch combination nicely.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Keller walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Zangiev rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Keller moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Good standup being displayed there by Zangiev as he connects with a hook.
Keller takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.


Keller is rocked!
Victor Zangiev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zangiev closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Keller out cold! Keller corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Victor Zangiev!
