The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michaels throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Michaels is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kennedy.
Michaels misses with an uppercut. Kennedy saw that one coming.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kennedy looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Michaels lands a slapping body shot.
Michaels throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kennedy lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Kennedy throws a right and a left that Michaels avoids nicely.
Kennedy gets cracked there but stands up to it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Michaels connects with a jab.
Michaels catches Kennedy with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Michaels looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Michaels lands a nice looking body shot.
Kennedy tries to clinch there but Michaels circles away.
Nice straight punches there by Michaels. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Michaels.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kennedy moves out of range of the strikes.
A nice side step and Kennedy releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Michaels closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Kennedy! Michaels dives in looking to finish! Kennedy is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bryan Michaels!
