Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cfany Cfaniak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Jones will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Cfaniak tries to pull guard but Jones holds him up against the cage and eventually Cfaniak drops back down to his feet.
Jones swings wildly with an uppercut but Cfaniak uses good head movement to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cfaniak jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jones walks away with a smile on his face. Cfaniak gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Jones cracks Cfaniak with an open hand slap.
Jones scores with a jab. Cfaniak acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Jones misses with a double jab.
Cfaniak tries to counter with a takedown but Jones is quick to defend against it.
The fighters circle momentarily. Jones darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Jones jabs Cfaniak right on the nose. Cfaniak blinks but takes it well.

and Cfaniak counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Jones!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Cfaniak is trying to get an arm triangle but Jones is defending well.

Cfaniak tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cfaniak has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Jones wants to control but Cfaniak postures up.

Cfaniak has an Americana. Jones didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Cfaniak is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Cfaniak hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
