Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Amir Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Fenili (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Amir Khan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 18 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gabriel Fenili!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan tries to bum rush Fenili with a series of wild strikes but Fenili uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Khan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fenili unleashes a big counter combination but Khan bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Fenili bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Khan has one of Fenili's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.

Fenili goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Khan has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Fenili but great work by Khan.
Fenili tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Khan wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Khan decides to stand up, so the ref orders Fenili to his feet.

Khan's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Fenili has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

It looks like Khan has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Fenili has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Khan uses from the top position.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Khan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
