Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Masaharu Fujioka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shan Jager (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fujioka goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Jager only half commits to the counter leg kick.
A head kick misses from Jager.

Fujioka steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Jager. That one must have hurt.
Jager lands a high kick!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fujioka.
Fujioka looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Fujioka throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jager's waist but Jager gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fujioka off to one side.

Jager throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Fujioka is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jager defends it well.

Jager jumps guard and drags Fujioka to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Fujioka tries to free his leg and advance position but Jager is retaining full guard.
Fujioka is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Fujioka seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Jager for as long as he can get away with.
Jager wants to stand up but Fujioka is controlling him.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

It looked like Fujioka was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Fujioka has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jager avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Jager's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Fujioka tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jager smiles and moves away.

Fujioka shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Jager eats them both and turns towards Fujioka to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Fujioka shoots in looking for a takedown but Jager manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fujioka's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fujioka postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

That's time! Fujioka's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Fujioka drops back looking for a leg! Jager is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jager manages to kick Fujioka off! Fujioka jumps back into Jager's guard.

Fujioka gets to his feet. Jager looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Jager misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Fujioka lands a head kick. Jager smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Jager feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Fujioka's calf.

Fujioka closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The referee asks Fujioka politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Fujioka prefers to stall for the moment though.
Fujioka has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Jager!
Fujioka takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Jager is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Jager takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Jager is squirming around, avoiding Fujioka's attempts to control the action.
The referee warns Jager that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Jager tries to lock up and control but Fujioka gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Fujioka has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
