The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson throws a series of punches but Kokov moves out of range.
Kokov tries to counter by clinching up but Anderson breaks away and moves out of range.
Anderson tries a head kick but it misses.
Anderson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kokov connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Anderson scrambles back to his feet.
Nice body punch from Kokov.

Kokov has managed to clinch.
A short left from Kokov.

Kokov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kokov scores with a shot to the body.
Kokov scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
No joy there for Anderson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kokov lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

That has opened up Gene Anderson's cut even more.
Kokov misses with a series of wild punches.
Anderson steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Kokov.
Kokov throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Anderson.
Kokov lands the left hand.
Kokov digs a good body shot into Anderson's ribs.
Kokov stuffs the takedown.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kokov throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Anderson stumbling backwards into the cage! Anderson bounces back off the cage towards Kokov, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Kokov lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Kokov celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
