Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ted Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yushin Okami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ted Knight!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Yushin Okami!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Knight closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Knight prevents a takedown attempt there.
Knight is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Knight's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Knight is looking to clinch but Okami is avoiding it.
Knight tries to clinch but Okami is having none of it.
Knight tries to close the distance and clinch up but Okami swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Knight fails with an attempt to clinch.

Knight rushes Okami and presses him up against the cage.
Okami tries for a takedown but Knight manages to get underhooks.
Knight lands an elbow inside.

It looks like Yushin Okami has been cut.
Knight wants to break free but Okami has control.
Okami has Knight pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Knight manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Ted Knight has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yushin Okami.
Okami can't get the takedown.
Knight throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Okami blocks it with crossed arms.

Okami gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Knight has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Okami is working away from the top position though.
Knight gets back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Okami wants to control from the top but Knight keeps moving.
Knight controlling the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Okami controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Knight keeping moving, preventing Okami from controlling successfully.
Okami with a nice head shot there.
Okami trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Knight takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Okami swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Knight lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Okami crumples to the floor! Knight milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
