Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darth Vader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Micheal Doratukus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Darth Vader!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Micheal Doratukus!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Kenichi Hosakawa and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doratukus dives in and grabs Vader's left leg, looking for a takedown. Vader pushes down on Doratukus's head and hops out.

Vader dives in and scores a takedown into Doratukus's guard.

Vader decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Doratukus has managed to clinch.
Doratukus tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Vader smiles and moves away.
Micheal Doratukus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Vader shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Doratukus manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Vader is stalling in the full guard.

Vader has gone for a leg lock! Doratukus slips out almost immediately though and dives into Vader's guard.

Doratukus must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Vader will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Doratukus really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vader. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Vader lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Vader throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Doratukus's waist but Doratukus gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vader off to one side.

Doratukus gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Vader to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Vader will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Vader wants to pass to mount but Doratukus is defending the position.

Doratukus wants to improve his position but Vader is controlling well.
Vader looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Vader feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Vader stands up from Doratukus's guard - Vader perhaps looking for a knockout.

Doratukus fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Vader closes the distance and clinches.
Doratukus lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Vader backwards.
Doratukus is trying to pull guard but Vader turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Darth Vader has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Micheal Doratukus.
Vader is working for takedown but Doratukus is calmly controlling the position for now.
Doratukus tries to score a body lock takedown but Vader shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Vader fails to pull guard.
Vader tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Doratukus smiles and moves away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Doratukus is defended easily by Vader.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Vader rushes Doratukus and presses him up against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Darth Vader dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Doratukus wants to clinch up but Vader keeps it at a distance.

Vader closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Vader is taking a breather. Doratukus says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Vader has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Vader stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Doratukus to get to his feet.

Vader throws a front kick that sends Doratukus stumbling back into the cage.

Doratukus darts in looking for a takedown but Vader gets double underhooks and turns Doratukus into the cage.
Doratukus slaps away a takedown attempt from Vader, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Doratukus misses with a series of wild punches.
Vader goes for a double leg but Doratukus avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Doratukus continues to drive forward.

Doratukus takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Vader throws a sloppy head kick and Doratukus moves out of range easily.
Doratukus scores with a kick to the midsection.

Vader moves into the clinch successfully.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Vader jumps into guard, dragging Doratukus to the mat.
Vader is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Doratukus slips nicely into half guard.
Vader is concentrating on defense, preventing Doratukus from advancing position.

Vader manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Doratukus manages to get himself to full guard.

Vader stands up and waves to Doratukus to follow him.

Well Vader has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
