The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pro lands with a straight right. Alvarez didn't see that one coming.
Pro lands with a nice combination. Alvarez backs away looking to recover.
Alvarez is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Pro moves into the clinch successfully.
Pro lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Alvarez is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Pro is defending well.
Alvarez has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Pro is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
We've been hearing reports that Alvarez has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Pro unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Alvarez! He's leaning against the ropes trying to keep his feet but Pro is unloading with more strikes now! Alvarez drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
