Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Collarina!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Patton throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Collarina was covering up waiting for the punch and Patton finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Patton jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Collarina walks away with a smile on his face. Patton gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Patton feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Patton decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Collarina, up you get!

Karl Patton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Collarina.

Collarina misses with a knee strike.

Patton pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Karl Patton will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!



Collarina rushes Patton and presses him up against the cage.
Collarina tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Patton just stands there and leans against the cage.

Patton has Collarina pressed against the cage, preventing Collarina from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Collarina creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

and Patton counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Patton is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Collarina has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Patton is looking to defend but Collarina has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Patton! Collarina pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Patton taps out and this one is all over!
