Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chad Silva Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Smith dives in for a single leg takedown but Silva Gracie sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Silva Gracie throws a counter high kick but Smith was just alert enough to avoid it.
Smith fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Smith looks winded!
Smith throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Silva Gracie's waist but Silva Gracie gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Smith off to one side.
Silva Gracie throws a quick counter kick to the body but Smith avoids it.
Chad Silva Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rob Smith.
Smith tries to close the distance and clinch but Silva Gracie swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Smith just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromSilva Gracie.
Silva Gracie displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Smith.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smith tries for a takedown but Silva Gracie sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Silva Gracie feinted with a counter takedown.

Smith shoots in for a takedown but Silva Gracie shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Silva Gracie appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Smith shoots in looking for a takedown. Silva Gracie tries to sprawl out of it but Smith keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Silva Gracie manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Smith.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Smith tries to clinch but Silva Gracie moves out of range.
Nice sprawl there from Silva Gracie as Smith shoots in.
It looked like Silva Gracie was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Smith drives through with a takedown into guard.
Silva Gracie is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Smith won't allow Silva Gracie to sweep him here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silva Gracie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Smith can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Silva Gracie pulls Smith in close to prevent any damage.
Silva Gracie wants to sweep here but Smith controlling him for the moment.

Silva Gracie is looking to cinch up a triangle. Smith throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Silva Gracie's body to avoid the submission. Silva Gracie has instead reached around Smith's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Silva Gracie arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
