The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nomo scores with a nice right hand.
We've been told by Spong's head coaches at Iron fight team that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Nomo checks a leg kick.
Nomo throws the left hand but Spong avoids the punch easily.
Nomo walks into a stiff left hand from Spong.
Spong is looking to chop away at Nomo's legs.
Spong cracks the inside of Nomo's front leg.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Nomo misses with a body punch.
Spong throws a punch but it's blocked by Nomo.
Spong tries to throw a body punch but Nomo avoids it by throwing Spong back against the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Spong dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Nomo. That did some damage!

As Nomo looks to move away, Spong throws a big counter combo bu Nomo just gets out of the way.

Nomo lands a brutal uppercut that launches Spong off his feet! Spong tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
