The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baliskad is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Trueman tries for a takedown but Baliskad sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
No joy there for Trueman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Baliskad is looking to land body kicks.
Trueman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Trueman throws a right and a left that Baliskad avoids nicely.
Baliskad fails with the takedown
and Trueman counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Trueman.
Baliskad looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Trueman passes into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Baliskad is looking to get back to is feet but Trueman passes into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Baliskad is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Trueman asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Trueman is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Baliskad knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Baliskad really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Trueman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Baliskad is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Trueman's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Trueman! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Baliskad has tapped! This one is allllll over!
