Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lars Eriksson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Aldhest (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lars Eriksson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Adam Aldhest!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eriksson throws a combination that misses

and Aldhest counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Aldhest.
Aldhest just leaning against Eriksson, taking a breather.
Aldhest lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Aldhest has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Eriksson uses from the top position.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Aldhest checks a leg kick.
Aldhest uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Eriksson.
Aldhest shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Eriksson looks to score with a jab to the body but Aldhest is just out of range.

Aldhest closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Eriksson to the mat! Eriksson manages to get full guard.
Eriksson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Aldhest controls the pace.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Aldhest tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Eriksson defends well and Aldhest ends up having to push Eriksson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Eriksson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Aldhest moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Eriksson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Aldhest manages to avoid it.

That's time! Eriksson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

and Aldhest counters with a body kick that stops Eriksson in his tracks momentarily.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Aldhest is defended easily by Eriksson.

Aldhest is trying to drag Eriksson to the mat but Eriksson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

That was a close second round but I would say that Lars Eriksson will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Aldhest tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Eriksson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Eriksson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Aldhest shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Eriksson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

The fighters circle momentarily. Eriksson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

As Aldhest tries to get set, Eriksson tries to push him back and clinch up but Aldhest manages to avoid the attempt.
Lars Eriksson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adam Aldhest.

Aldhest closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Eriksson's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Eriksson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Aldhest not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

I would just about give that final round to Adam Aldhest.
I think Aldhest has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
