Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ike Dyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Kaman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rob Kaman will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaman's corner calls for a 1-2. Kaman obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Dyer takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Kaman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dyer swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Dyer takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Dyer is trying to break the clinch but Kaman is controlling him.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Kaman.

Dyer jumps guard and drags Kaman to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Kaman must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Kaman wants to stand but Dyer is controlling his posture from full guard.

Kaman drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Dyer dives on top into guard.

Dyer is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Kaman can't fight it off and eventually Dyer manages to take the fight to the floor. Kaman looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Dyer decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kaman, up you get!
Kaman lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

It looks like Ike Dyer has been cut.

Dyer gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Kaman regains guard.
Kaman is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

That was a close round but I would say that Ike Dyer will probably get the nod.
