The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mclovin misses with a body shot.
Danzig blocks a jab.

Mclovin uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Danzig.
Mclovin throws out a counter right but Danzig avoids it with no problem.
Danzig misses with a double jab.
Mclovin drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Danzig defends it well.
Danzig ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mclovin moves away.
Mclovin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Danzig.
Danzig takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Mclovin throws a jab when Danzig was well out of range.
It looked like Danzig wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Danzig lands a nice hook to Mclovin's body. Mclovin takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Danzig throws a series of punches but Mclovin avoids them all with ease.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mclovin misses with a hook. Danzig ducked under it nicely.
Danzig swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Mclovin decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Danzig's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mclovin trying to control but Danzig is working from the bottom.
