The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dean drives through and clinches with Leach against the cage.
Leach tries to pull guard but Dean holds him up against the cage and eventually Leach drops back down to his feet.

Dean turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Dean manages to end up in side control.
Leach is trying to escape the position but Dean is controlling the position.
Leach is looking to regain half guard here but Dean keeps moving and retains side control.
The referee asks Dean politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Dean prefers to stall for the moment though.
It looks like Dean might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Dean landing a few strikes.

It looks like Lyman Leach has been cut.
Leach knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dean on the ground.
Dean is putting a hurting on Leach here, landing some big shots from side control.

Leach is rocked!

Lyman Leach's cut is getting worse.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dean controls the position.
Oh Leach is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Leach really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Dean passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Leach!
Dean cracks Leach with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
