PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Illi Terate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Donnik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donnik throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

It looks like Illi Terate has been cut.
Terate cracks Donnik with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Donnik swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Donnik walks into a straight right hand from Terate.
Terate scores with a jab.
Donnik swinging wildly here.
Donnik takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Terate moves into range and connects with a jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Donnik throws a leg kick but Terate moved away.
Terate looks to throw the jab but Donnik is out of range.
Terate jabs Donnik to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Donnik swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Terate dips to his left and cracks Donnik with an uppercut!
Donnik moves out of range of the strikes.
Terate connects with a right hand. Donnik shakes it off.
Terate smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Donnik looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Terate swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Donnik throws a series of punches but Terate moves out of range.
Donnik lands with a straight right. Terate didn't see that one coming.
Donnik moves out of range of the strikes.
Terate missing with a left hand there. Donnik was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Terate waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Donnik.
Donnik moves out of range as Terate strikes.
Donnik lands the left hand.
Terate catches Donnik with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Terate dodges the punch combination from Donnik.
Terate connects with a right hand. Donnik shakes it off.
A slow jab from Terate misses its intended target.
Terate throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Donnik clips Terate with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Terate a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout.
Donnik blocks a jab.

Terate keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
