Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Schoolboy Lamar!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Miguel darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Miguel is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lamar defends it well.
Miguel definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Miguel swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Lamar is now in Miguel's guard. A big mistake from Miguel there, giving up the dominant position!

Miguel pulls Lamar in close to his closed guard and prevents Lamar from doing any damage or advancing position.
Miguel bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lamar's guard.

Lamar should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Miguel is looking to work some ground and pound but Lamar has wrist control.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Miguel drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Miguel jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Miguel might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Miguel has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Lamar after a bit of a struggle.
