Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Inspectah Deck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felipe Calderon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Deck kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Raekwon feat. Inspectah Deck, GZA-Guillotine (Swordz). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Inspectah Deck!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 11 - 1, fighting out of London, Felipe Calderon!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Patrick Alders and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Deck - just one landing.
Deck works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Deck lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Calderon lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Deck looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Deck displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Calderon throws out the jab.
Deck is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Calderon.
Deck bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Deck tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Calderon manages to circle out of the way.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Calderon feints a jab promting Deck to slip. Calderon then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Deck slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Calderon pivots, looking for a leg kick but Deck is out of range and Calderon settles back down.
Calderon's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Deck connects with a looping right hand.
Calderon throws the left hand but Deck avoids the punch easily.
Calderon ducks right into an uppercut from Deck.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Calderon seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Inspectah Deck has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Felipe Calderon.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Deck lands with an uppercut that bounces Calderon off the cage and back into range.

Calderon connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Deck's hands.
Deck connects with a body shot that sends Calderon's belly button to the back.

Inspectah Deck is winning the standup battle so far.

Deck throws a left that rocks Calderon and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Deck dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Calderon regain composure!


Calderon is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Deck works to advance to full mount. Calderon defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Calderon is still in real trouble! Can Deck finish him?
BOOM! Deck connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Deck takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Deck loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Calderon scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Deck land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Deck stands and salutes the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Inspectah Deck!
In his post fight interview, Inspectah Deck started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
