Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sammie Gee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tt Rex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tt Rex is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Lou da Vinci and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gee clinches.
A head punch on the inside from Rex fails to land.
Gee blocks an uppercut.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Gee takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Gee lands a right hand that snaps the head of Rex backwards.
Rex misses with a short punch on the inside.
A shot in the inside from Gee.
Gee lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Rex backwards.
Rex tries a body shot but Gee blocks it.
Gee lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Rex tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Gee's elbow.
Gee stalling in the clinch but Rex improves position.

Gee creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Gee trying to control the position but instead, Rex has worked for underhooks and has pushed Gee into the cage.

Rex swings wildly with an uppercut but Gee uses good head movement to avoid it.

Rex is trying to push Gee away but Gee has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Rex swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Rex tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Rex tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Gee avoids it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Rex wants to take the fight to the mat but Gee manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Rex tries to work over Gee's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Rex wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Rex goes for a takedown attempt but Gee pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Gee throws a shot to the body.
Gee stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Gee scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Gee lands with a good body shot.
Rex looks winded!
Rex swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Rex misses with an uppercut
and Gee counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Nice body punch from Gee.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gee scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Gee lands a body shot.
Gee is looking to wear down Rex with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Gee lands the left hand.


Rex is rocked!
Gee connects with a nice cross there... Rex is looking wobbly and Gee recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Rex to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Gee jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
