The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nieves shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Nieto is trying to defend but Nieves finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Nieto goes for a double leg but Nieves avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Nieves continues to drive forward.
