Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sammy GeeJr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Korell Griffen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Igor Prikhodko and Fedor Mirinova.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
GeeJr cracks Griffen with a right hand to the side of the head.
GeeJr tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Griffen is able to avoid easily.

Griffen throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. GeeJr was covering up waiting for the punch and Griffen finishes the takedown easily into guard.
GeeJr keeping moving, preventing Griffen from controlling successfully.
GeeJr looking to hit a scissor sweep but Griffen is one step ahead there.
Griffen trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

GeeJr trying to strike off his back.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
GeeJr might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Griffen wants to control from the top but GeeJr keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
GeeJr bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Griffen's head.
Griffen fails with a takedown attempt.
GeeJr pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
GeeJr stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Griffen shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
GeeJr connects with a nice looking jab.
Good standup being displayed there by GeeJr as he connects with a hook.
GeeJr fails in his attempt to clinch.

GeeJr lands a big uppercut and Griffen crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Griffen looks OK. GeeJr waves Griffen back to his feet!

Griffen is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Griffen is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. GeeJr just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Griffen has gone limp and this one is over!
