And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bruce Patterson!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Steve Montenegro and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson lands an overhand right.
Anderson throws a series of punches but Patterson avoids them all with ease.
Patterson moves in looking to clinch but Anderson pushes him off.
Patterson drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Anderson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Anderson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Anderson lands a nice shot to the body.
Patterson is looking to clinch but Anderson is avoiding it.
Patterson wants to clinch up but Anderson keeps it at a distance.
Good leg kick by Anderson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Anderson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Anderson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Patterson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Patterson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Anderson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Patterson throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
As Patterson tries to get set, Anderson tries to push him back and clinch up but Patterson manages to avoid the attempt.
Patterson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Anderson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nice takedown defense from Anderson. No joy for Patterson on that attempt.
Patterson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Anderson lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Patterson darts in looking for a takedown but Anderson gets double underhooks and turns Patterson into the cage.
Anderson seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Patterson walks into a jab.
Patterson fails with a takedown attempt.
Cliff Anderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruce Patterson.

and Anderson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Anderson fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Patterson looks winded!

Anderson has taken the fight to the clinch.

Patterson doesn't manage to clinch there - Anderson circles away.
Anderson cracks Patterson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Anderson slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Patterson is rocked!
Patterson throws a wild hook but Anderson just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Patterson gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Anderson raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cliff Anderson!
