The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nascimento misses with a combination
and Kruk holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Nascimento's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Kruk shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Nascimento's guard.
Kruk postures up in Nascimento's guard and throws a big left but Nascimento blocks it.

Nascimento wants to stand up but Kruk is controlling him.
Kruk throws an elbow that misses. Nascimento uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kruk's guard. Nice move by Nascimento!
Nascimento stands up and waves to Kruk to follow him.

Kruk tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Nascimento drops Kruk with a beautiful combination! Kruk stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Nascimento is looking for the KO!

It looks like John Kruk has been cut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
