Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Brett Hart!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Winston Alpacca and Michael Johnstone.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hart lunges at Woodley with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Woodley's hand.
Hart stuffs the takedown attempt from Woodley. Woodley gets slowly back to his feet.
As Woodley backs off Hart throws a huge counter combo but Woodley manages to avoid it all.

Woodley on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Hart comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Woodley moves into the clinch.
Woodley is trying to pull guard but Hart has him pressed against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Will Woodley. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Woodley stalling.
Hart looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hart can't break the clinch.
Hart wants to break free but Woodley has control.
Woodley tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Woodley misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Hart.

Hart wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Woodley has him pressed against the cage.
Woodley has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hart avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Hart can't break the clinch.
Hart tries to break free but Woodley pushes him back against the cage.
Woodley wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Woodley breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Brett Hart is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Woodley tries to bum rush Hart with a series of wild strikes but Hart uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hart throws a combination that misses

and Woodley counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Hart wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Woodley jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hart walks away with a smile on his face. Woodley gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Hart has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Hart stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Woodley takes one to the chin there.
Woodley goes for a double leg but Hart avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hart continues to drive forward.

Woodley darts in and clinches Hart up against the cage.

Woodley breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Woodley has his takedown stuffed
and Hart counters with a left to the body.
Woodley is breathing heavily.
Hart lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Some wild striking there from Hart.
A jab from Hart does it's job there.

Woodley is rocked!
Hart feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Woodley crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
