Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Danny O Malley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul McIntosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). O Malley comes to the cage accompanied by House Of pain - Jump Around. Paul McIntosh is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Danny O Malley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Paul McIntosh!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Malley shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McIntosh pinned against the cage. McIntosh gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
O Malley avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
O Malley shoots for a double leg takedown but McIntosh sprawls well. He's pushed O Malley's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
McIntosh loads up on a big right hand but O Malley slips the punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
O Malley lands a nice shot to the body.
McIntosh is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by O Malley.

McIntosh is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst O Malley is controlling him.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
O Malley misses with a takedown attempt - McIntosh sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
O Malley slips under a jab from McIntosh.
O Malley rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McIntosh moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


O Malley closes the distance and clinches up with McIntosh, looking for a takedown. O Malley pushes McIntosh against the cage but McIntosh circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
O Malley tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
McIntosh throws a looping overhand right but O Malley ducks down to avoid it.
O Malley slips under a jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
O Malley uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McIntosh.
O Malley will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
McIntosh is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

It looks like Paul McIntosh has been cut.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

O Malley closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - O Malley lands in his opponent's guard.
O Malley prevents McIntosh from getting back to his feet.
O Malley stands up out of McIntosh's guard for a moment - McIntosh manages to land a nice upkick.

O Malley shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says McIntosh as he avoids it easily.

McIntosh might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

O Malley throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McIntosh's waist but McIntosh gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing O Malley off to one side.

O Malley shoots in looking for a takedown. McIntosh tries to sprawl out of it but O Malley keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McIntosh manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Paul McIntosh comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think McIntosh has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
