Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Felipe Paraventi and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Luso.
Luso fails to land the takedown.
Luso throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gracie's waist but Gracie gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Luso off to one side.
Luso throws a head kick that misses.
Gracie misses with a series of wild punches.
Gracie bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Luso is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Luso postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Gracie is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Luso, into his guard.

Gracie is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Gracie extends the arm and Luso is forced to tap!
