Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rimario Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akau Umaga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Akau Umaga!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, David Hoff and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Umaga - that will leave a mark!
Umaga clinches with his opponent.
Umaga scores with a nice hook to the head.
Gracie is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Umaga pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Umaga just leaning against Gracie, taking a breather.
Gracie is looking to take this one to the mat.
Umaga breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Umaga slips under a jab.
Gracie dodges the punch combination from Umaga.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Umaga displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gracie.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rimario Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A slapping leg kick lands for Umaga.
Umaga clinches with his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Umaga escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Umaga!
Umaga tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A left lands for Umaga.
It looks like Rimario Gracie has been cut.
Umaga defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gracie.
Gracie dives in for a single leg takedown but Umaga sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
A nice leg kick lands there from Umaga.
Gracie takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Umaga misses with a two punch combination.
Umaga throws a leg kick which misses Gracie's front leg but catches the back leg as Gracie tries to avoid it.
Gracie takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Umaga connects with a solid leg kick.
Good leg kick by Umaga there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Umaga scores with a body shot.
The fighters circling - Gracie throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Umaga looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Oooooh!!! Umaga has knocked Gracie down with a huge combo! Umaga steps away and waves a wobbly Gracie back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Gracie is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Umaga rushes Gracie and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Oh Gracie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Umaga manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Umaga continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.
Umaga gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Umaga gets to his feet. Gracie looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Umaga lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Gracie crumples to the floor! Umaga milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Akau Umaga!
