The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asashoryu throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Asashoryu throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bogaurd sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Bogaurd is looking for the big counter here.
Asashoryu works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

It looks like Remel Bogaurd has been cut.
Bogaurd lands a jab.

Bogaurd takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Asashoryu works Bogaurd's body with a nice hook.
Asashoryu looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Asashoryu backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Bogaurd's temple! It sends Bogaurd violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Asashoryu celebrates and the doctors try to help Bogaurd!
