Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nautica Thorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Tags (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tags is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Dwarf Song. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nautica Thorn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 1, fighting out of London, Jim Tags!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, William Gold and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thorn misses with a hook.

Thorn gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Thorn is looking to control Tags's arms but Tags gets an underhook and turns him. Now Thorn has his back to the cage.

Thorn breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Thorn tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Tags lands a big head kick that sends Thorn tumbling to the mat! Tags takes a step backwards and waves Thorn back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Nautica Thorn has been cut.

Tags closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Thorn quickly recovers to half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Thorn looking for submissions off his back.
Tags is taking a breather. Thorn says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Thorn is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Tags controlling the pace.

Thorn is looking for a sweep. Tags is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Tags is keen to just control but Thorn is a slippery customer.
Tags is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Thorn!

Thorn keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Thorn is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Thorn tries to lock up and control but Tags gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Thorn can't escape the position.
Thorn bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Thorn trying to control but Tags is working from the bottom.
Tags tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Thorn wants to control from the top but Tags keeps moving.
Tags is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Thorn looking to sit in guard and control but Tags gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Tags trying to control the position from guard on top but Thorn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Tags stays in close to Thorn's body and controls the position.
Tags trying to control but Thorn is working from the bottom.
Thorn might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Thorn throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Thorn is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Thorn has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Tags is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Thorn.
You can see the frustration on Thorn's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Tags controlling from side mount.
Thorn tries to bench press Tags off him but Tags keeps the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jim Tags dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Nautica Thorn's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Thorn shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tags as he jumps to the side.
Tags cracks Thorn with a right hand to the side of the head.
Tags lands a jab to the nose.
A head kick misses from Thorn.
Thorn shoots in for a double leg but Tags sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Tags wants to counter with a clinch but Thorn pushes him away.
Tags swats away the attempt to clinch by Thorn.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thorn has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nautica Thorn. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Thorn shoots in for a takedown but Tags shows good takedown defense.
Thorn tries to clinch there but Tags circles away.
Nautica Thorn is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Tags drops Thorn with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Thorn looks back up at him and smiles so Tags waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Thorn is rocked!

Tags displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Thorn.
Tags tries to counter by closing the distance.
Oh Thorn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Thorn throws a lazy head kick

and Tags counters by moving into the clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Tags on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Tags lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Thorn backwards.
Tags creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Thorn with a big uppercut! Thorn tries to clinch up but Tags pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Thorn to the mat! Thorn covers up and Tags unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jim Tags!
